Oakridge Lutheran Church (OLC) is a multicultural Christian community church located in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with nearby landmarks such as Oakridge Centre mall and the Oakridge – 41st Skytrain station. By late 2019, OLC and partner non-profit Catalyst Community Developments Society had redeveloped the existing church property into a six-storey, mixed-use building, with retail at street level, a new church and community space on the second floor, and four levels of affordable rental housing above the church. Other cities and churches are now studying this redevelopment model where a church keeps its property by selling air parcel space for retail and housing needs.
