Description

SUCCI Wellness Centre (Minowaadiziiwin) | Confederation College

SUCCI Wellness Centre - Minowaadiziiwin The Confederation College Wellness Centre is a modern multi-use facility with fitness equipment and spaces to promote students’ health and well-being and to provide a gathering place for students and the community. [gallery] Minowaadiziiwin, which means “to lead a good life”, symbolizes the value of the facility beyond contributions to physical well-being and a balanced lifestyle. Design and architecture of this new facility reflects the Indigenous cultural values of northwestern Ontario. The use of glue laminate timbers in the construction creates a unique atmosphere compared to other comparable facilities.
