When I decided to enter the world of real estate and become a REALTOR, I knew that my life experiences would be an asset to my business and to my future clients and their needs. I have designed and built homes, renovated homes and multi-unit buildings and continue to own and rent income properties. I also knew that I would be able to share my knowledge on the cost of construction, see value in the design of homes and give good advice on what works for a family. Being a Mom to 5 kids aged 11-17, I have a very good grasp on what families need from a home, the importance of neighbourhood and the true value of that property, whether it is helping them sell or purchase a new home. Being from a large family myself, I have a special ability to navigate challenging family situations that can sometimes happen during the sale of a family home on behalf of aging parents or working on behalf of an estate. I bring patience, compassion, honesty and a light sense of humour to all situations, yet I maintain a constant professionalism that is required in sensitive situations. I take great pride in actively listening to my clients' needs and searching for the perfect property for them based on those needs. I am efficient, prepared, caring and an excellent communicator. These assets are appreciated and truly valued by my clients and they have given me feedback to that effect. I am honoured to be a REALTOR of choice. Those clients that do ask me to represent their needs in the sale of their home appreciate my thorough market research, my honest approach to the question of value and the problem solving skills I possess. The clients that ask me to represent them in the purchase of their next home appreciate my ability to detect true value, my dedication to their needs, my perseverance and my connections to other professional REALTORS. I love to volunteer my time and I have been an incredibly active volunteer in my community for a number of years. This love of community, kids and organizing minor sports shows my fellow parents and neighbours that I am woman of my word, hardworking, giving of my time and spirit and truly caring. In my volunteer work, I bring knowledge, a dedicated work ethic and the ability to inspire people around me. I am very friendly, outgoing, I have a great sense of humour and I know ultimately, what is most important. My volunteer work ethic mirrors my professional work ethic and this is very important to me.I also believe in the importance of donations to causes in my community. With the official purchase or sale of any property that I complete, I donate $100 to P.R.O Kids Saint John to help fund their vast needs with the youth of our local community. They help sponsor children who want to participate in extra activities, whether it be music, performing art, or sports. To date, I have donated over $3000. I am also a member of the Saint John chapter of the 100 Women who care and donate $400 annually to their chosen charities. In my spare time, I love to cook. It is my favourite hobby and I have a daily (sometimes every other day) Instagram cooking show that my friends love to watch. I love to share my cooking advice, recipes and funny life experiences in a truly genuine way. I think that when people meet me, they quickly learn that I am genuine, easy to get along with, possess a positive energy and willing to help at any time.
